PADI Underwater Videographer Specialty Course (3 or 5 days) The 3 or 5 day course is designed to introduce student divers to the selection, use and care of underwater video equipment and the basic principles of underwater video production. The advantage of taking the 5 day course is that we're able to take more time developing your underwater videography skills, plus include extra information - a detailed breakdown is given below. To qualify for the Underwater Videographer specialty course you must be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organization. The PADI videography course includes: • The selection, maintenance, care and handling of underwater video equipment. • Safe diving practices while diving with a camera • Shot types and camera moves - Developing a storyline • Making a short underwater movie with music • The basics of post production • 4 (or 6) training dives with a video camera The course fee includes video camera rental, video manual, PADI certification card, 4 dives, use of computers and your final DVD with music.
