Image: Crocodile-fish in Koh Tao
I was out at White Rock yesterday, making an Underwater video for an Open Water group diving with Simple Life Divers. The instructor i was filming very kindly showed me 2 crocodile-fish - in more than 7 years on this island, I've never heard of them being seen so I was keen to get that great shot. I was lying down, trying to get a close up, when I looked up, and a turtle almost swam into my head! I love filming on Koh Tao, but when you get something out of the ordinary like that, it's makes it very easy to do my job! I got back to the office, and nobody believed me about the crocs, but when they looked at my footage, we checked in the fish book, and I had filmed a broadhead flathead...I look forward to seeing them again soon.
